- When I was 21, I quit my job and backpacked on my own around Europe just because someone told me that “I would never have the courage to do do that”. Thank you to that person!
- I still find it hard to believe that I have left high school, have a real job (I work as a HR Officer/Coach), a mortgage, a husband and a two year old daughter.
- I have given up completely on intellectual masterpieces - I love reading chick literature (The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella rocks) and curling up on the couch to watch Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives and Packed to the Rafters.
- My two year old daughter has more rhythm and co-ordination than me.
- I don’t have a large circle of friends, but I absolutely treasure my close friends – you know who you are.
- I would rather drink a nice warm cup of tea than anything else.
- I have never managed to stick out a full gym membership, but in recent years I have found yoga – it keeps me sane.

- I hate surprises and spontaneity, I like to think things over and be organised for whatever life throws at me.
- I was absolutely terrified on my wedding day, my husband and my best friend helped me get through the day.
- I wear high necked tops and scarves to hide the red blotches that appear on my chest and neck whenever I feel anxious.
- I am often speechless and think of fantastic comebacks hours after I can use them.
- When I take aerobics/yoga classes, I hate being at the front of the class.
- Large crowds freak me out, I haven’t been to a music festival in years.
- I have a guaranteed meltdown whenever I have to go a party where there are people I don’t know. My husband can vouch for the fact that I will freak out, not be able to find something to wear, have a make-up crisis and come up with every excuse in the book not to go.
- I do not like driving places I haven't been before, particularly when there are other people in the car.
- I have never sung at a karaoke bar, it is one of my biggest fears.
- It’s my birthday and I’ll cry if I want to! I hate having all the attention on me, my 21st was a struggle, quietly dreading my 30th later this year.
